NeoMode® Software Option

Description
The Puritan Bennett® 840 Ventilator has a noninvasive ventilation (NIV) feature that has been enhanced to improve patient comfort and clinician ease of use. NIV mode for the 840 Ventilator is designed for use on patients with a stable respiratory drive. This ventilation option is commonly used on patients with congestive heart failure, severe COPD and severe asthma. In addition, NIV can help post-extubation patients with severe sleep apnea and neonatal patients with respiratory distress syndrome. The enhanced NIV feature is included in all new 840 Ventilator purchases and is available as a software upgrade to current customers.
