The noninvasive ventilation (NIV) feature of the 840 Ventilator has been enhanced, making the NeoMode Software Option more compatible with neonatal nasal CPAP prongs when used with the upgraded 840 units.

• Enhanced compatibility with neonatal nasal CPAP prongs.
• Flow sensitivity from 0.1 L/min to 10 L/min allows responsive breath triggering and the ability to compensate for large leaks in neonatal circuits.
• Rise to pressure adjustable from least to most aggressive with peak flow as low as 1 L/min available in volume ventilation.
• Selectable expiratory sensitivity offers excellent synchrony at high respiratory rates.

Indications For Usage

• For use with the 840 Ventilator in providing neonate patients with ventilatory support in the hospital NICU.
