Software Options

Option 10, Pressure Support
You can set a positive pressure that is active during the inspiratory phase of any spontaneous breath. Pressure support helps the patient to sustain a breath, and can minimize the patient's work of breathing. Pressure support is standard on the 7200® Ventilator.

Option 20, Digital Communications Interface (DCI 2.0)
Enhances the function of the ventilator's serial ports by offering preformatted reports and commands. DCI 2.0 allows the ventilator to communicate with two interactive devices simultaneously, including the CliniVision® Handheld Device.

Option 30/40, Respiratory Mechanics You can choose from three maneuvers (static mechanics, negative inspiratory pressure, and vital capacity) and two monitoring functions (dynamic mechanics and peak spontaneous flow).

Option 50, Flow-by®
Delivers a predetermined flow of gas to the patient wye prior to an inspiratory effort, reducing the patient work necessary to trigger the ventilator. Flow-by® 2.0 provides the added advantage that all patient-initiated breaths (including pressure support and apnea ventilation) can be flow-triggered.

Option 60, Graphics 2.0
You can select from four types of waveform curves and two types of loops for display and analysis. Graphics 2.0 also provides trending, which allows up to 12 parameters (from a menu of over 30) to be trended for up to 72 hours. In addition, Graphics 2.0 offers three weaning indices: rapid shallow breathing index (RR/VT), fraction of inspiratory time/total cycle time ratio (TI/TTOT), and mean inspiratory flow (VT/TI).

Option 80, Pressure Control Ventilation (PCV) Delivers time-cycled, pressure-based breaths. Pressure and inspiratory time or pressure and I:E ratio are the set variables. PCV applies only to mandatory breaths or manual inspirations. It functions in CMV and SIMV and can be flow-triggered.
